Newsletter Archives
The Nordic Tug Owners Newsletter has been published continuously since 1981. Thanks to Jo Collester, editor from 1981 to 1986, John and Janice Burdette, editors from 1986 to 1993, Bill Owel, editor from 1993 to 2006, and Charlie Billings, editor from 2006 to 2012, we have a digital archive of most of the newsletters. Use the Newletter menu above to select the issues you want to read. They can be saved in PDF format or printed on your printer from the Adobe Acrobat window.
Trivia Corner
There have been 899 Nordic Tugs built: 185 26s; 341 32s/34s; 232 37s/39s; 5 40s; 124 42s/44s; 1 45; 2 49s; and 9 52s/54s. We believe 2 tugs were lost in hurricanes and 37-001X (a stretch 32) burned and sank. |

Nordic Tug Photos
Over 430 photos, about half of all Nordic Tugs built, are now available in the Photo Album link in the menu above. If you would like a photo of your tug to appear on this website, please send a digital photo via email to the webmaster. Be sure to include your hull number.
SENTOA Listserver
The SENTOA Listserver is an email forum open to current and pro-spective Nordic Tug owners and Nordic Tugs employees and dealers. There are about 350 participants who are daily sharing information about Nordic Tugs. It's a great resource, especially to new tug owners. Instructions on how to subscribe are available at www.SENTOA.org.
Ideas and Tips
Looking for ideas to customize your tug or tips to solve a maintenance problem? Owner's descriptions of upgrades and maintenance solutions are available on several of the owners' association websites. See the GLANTOA, NENTOA, SENTOA and SFBANTA websites. |

Nordic Tug Fleet List
The Nordic Tug Fleet List, a joint effort between Ron Matuska, Keeper of the Nordic Tug Fleet Lists, Herb Nickles, SENTOA Listserver Admin-istrator, and Dave Allen at Nordic Tugs, is an attempt to maintain as complete a list of Nordic Tug owners as possible. Currently, we have owner information on approximately 95% of tugs produced. Use Fleet List menu above to access and print a list.
If you sell or trade in your tug on another tug, please complete the Fleet List Update Form so we can accurately update the Fleet List with the name of the new owner and/or your new tug information. ***
